Muhasabah is the Arabic word for taking account of self. The ability to self-reflect is a fundamental human quality. It is through the introspective act that we discover our true nature and the nature of the world around us. But today we live in a world deeply pervaded by technology; one that is leading us down the rabbit hole of materialism. As a result, we are falling further away from our true nature... which is quintessentially immaterial. This immaterial reality is internal and connects us to the universal and the infinite.
